Professor Yiyu Lu, PhD, doctoral supervisor, Cheung Kong Scholar, now is the deputy dean of School of Resources and Environmental Science, Chairman of State Key Laboratory. Prof. Lu attained several honors and titles, e.g. the winner of China Youth Scientific Award, national "Millions of Talents Project", and China Youth Science and Technology Award, leader of Youth Science and Technology Innovation, academic leader of the innovation team of the Ministry of Education, National Outstanding Mid-Aged Expert. His research interests covers from high pressure water jet, to unconventional natural gas exploitation and development. Prof. Lu is PI for more than 40 national key project such as “973”, innovation team project of the Ministry of Education, national major projects, and NSFC. He is the recipient of several prestige national rewards, including twice second prizes and once third prize of National Scientific and Technology Award, three times first prizes of provincial award. He holds 12 authorized patens, published 5 monographs over 126 papers, among which more than 105 papers can be retrieved in SCI and EI.

 

    Professor Deyi Jiang, PhD, doctoral supervisor, is current dean of School of Resources and Environmental Sciences, executive deputy director of State Key Laboratory, member of Safety Engineering Professional Teaching Committee of colleges and universities of ministry of education, deputy director of China Equipment Management Association on Safety Production Technology Committee. He has also been given the titles of “Middle-aged and Young Experts with Outstanding Contribution of Chongqing”, “One of the first batch Academic Technology Leaders in Chongqing”. Prof. Jiang is mainly engaged in the fields of mining engineering, safety engineering and rock mechanics. He has made significant contribution to the research of highly effective mining of coal bed methane, salt mining and salt cavern energy storage. Besides, he was funded by over 40 national projects e.g. “973”, major national project and international natural science funding. He received Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award by twice, first prizes and 6 second prizes of scientific and technological progress award of the provincial and ministerial level by three times. He holds 30 granted patents, published 4 monographs and over 160 papers, among which more than 80 papers can be retrieved in SCI and EI.

 

    Professor Guangzhi Yin, PhD, doctoral supervisor, now is the deputy director of State Key Laboratory, party secretary of School of Resources and Environmental Science, Deputy Director of the Department of Engineering. He was the former dean of Resources and Environmental Science Department. Member of the mining engineering group of the sixth and seven session of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, Member of the Education Committee of the Ministry of Higher Education, director of Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, director of China Coal Education Association. He is the first batch winner of national "Millions of Talents Project", received College Young Teachers award of Ministry of Education, became the first Chongqing Ten Outstanding Youth, and first batch academic and technical leaders in Chongqing. 

He was the member of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee of the sixth subject appraisal group of mining engineering, Director of China Rock Mechanics and Engineering Institute, deputy Director of Rock Mechanics and Engineering Institute of Chongqing, executive Director of Coal Mine Institute of Chongqing. Professor Yin’s research interests are the coal mine disaster dynamics and control, theories and applications of rock mechanics, and rock engineering. He is in charge of more than 60 national key projects such as “973”, national major projects and NSFC. He received 1 second prize and 1 third prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 6 first prizes and 9 second prize of the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.  He holds 15 granted patents, publishes 8 monographs and over 230 papers, among which more than 160 papers can be retrieved in SCI and EI.

 

    Professor Yunpei Liang, PhD, doctoral supervisor, now is the deputy director of State Key Laboratory. He had been doing post-doctoral research at CSIRO from July 2007 to June 2011. He is in charge of more than 22 national key projects and 50 crosswise and enterprise projects such as “973”, Major special projects of the national development and Reform Commission, The National Natural Science Fund, Special funds of national scientific research institutes, National key scientific and technological project. He also publishes more than 30 papers on Journal of China Coal Society, chinese Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering etc., one book, drafts one of the coal industry standards, hold 2 patents and 7 provincial and ministerial awards. 

 

    Professor Yongdong Jiang, PhD, doctoral supervisor, now is the deputy director of State Key Laboratory, director of the Chongqing society of petroleum and natural gas, deputy director of the Youth Work Committee, also hold award of first batch Support program for young backbone teachers of colleges and universities in Chongqing. His research fields are coal bed methane and shale gas development, Stability and control direction of rock mass. He is in charge of more than 15 projects such as General Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science Foundation for Young Scientists of China, Key projects of science and technology research of the Ministry of Education, Chongqing Natural Science Foundation and other vertical and horizontal projects. He publishes more than 30 papers on Journals such as Energy, International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Sciences, Journal of China Coal Society including more than SCI, EI papers, hold 7 patents, 2 books and received First Prize and Second Prize for Science & technology Development/Achievement of the Ministry of Education the ministry of education.
